Dear Reader,

I was born and raised among a loving family of seven, consisting of two parents, four siblings, and myself. My childhood home was in a small city named Hamilton, located about half way up the North Island of New Zealand.

My folks sent all their children to recorder lessons, however at the time I found no joy in that instrument. I had the opportunity to learn the classical guitar, but finding the theory aspect arduous, I quit lessons soon after beginning. Since that time I have continued to play guitar, adding a few other instruments to my repertoire along the way.

Only recently I discovered the music which now delights, intrigues, and inspires me. Up until 2007 I listened to many genres of music, most to which I now shake my head in disbelief. I am glad to have found my place with the quiet, occasionally joyous, but oftentimes somber artists and their songs.

I now reside in another small city named Kelowna, in British Columbia, Canada. I wish to live here permanently, though try as I might the Government wishes me to depart, so depart I must. My plans are to live in Sydney, Australia for 6 months before returning to New Zealand to study.
